I think that's the case for tempered glass screen protectors. All plastic should be fine.

Had me is stitches @ "takes the fight to"
Stick a bit of easy to scuff metal around it and the boring OS with a Samsung screen becomes something much better /

My usual Spigen cases arrived (shown comparison to my old "yellowed" V30case)
Samsung have nicely covered the size steps and S10doesn't even feel big in the hand.
Cheap £7.99 cases but never had a phone damaged from a drop yet with this style case.

The really thin scratch protect ones should work (wet application)

Very tempted to go for S10 ...
I'm out of contract with my S7, i was leaning toward the Note 9, but the pull of a ultra wide angle lens in a mobile is strong. This would be great for both stills and video, plus i can use it on my Osmo Mobile 2 gimbal which would be fantastic.
The current hesitation is with no auto focus on the ultra wide lens. (It has fixed focus). I've seen lots of sample images where the fixed focus doesn't appear to be a issue, but then again, the early reviews seem to focus on the front facing 'selfie' camera. Or how better it is to the Iphone...data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Do you have any links for where reviews focus on the front camera? Because almost every review I see barely talks about the front camera. Pixel aside, Android front cameras poor compared to an iPhone.

Why do you need a good front camera?

Because I like to take pics with friends, solo pics when I travel by myself etc. Selfies aren’t just for those who love themselves and live on Snapchat. And I can’t stand the filtered look that a lot of Android phones produce in most circumstances.

Supply and demand i guess.
I take the odd selfie with the kids every now and then, but never have i punched the air on seeing high end specs on a front camera...
I'm not 100% keen on the latest trend of portrait/ simulated bokeh either. Always looks like a poor attempt at photoshop.

It’s not about ‘punching the air’ over specs as you put it. Some phones have great front cameras and others don’t. So travelling on my own a lot, I want a good one. I’d much prefer to be able to take quick pics in front of landmarks etc than stop and ask people to take one.
With today’s tech and prices, every part of the phone should be top quality.
This isn’t aimed at you specifically but too many people assume if someone likes a good front camera, they’re someone who takes a million selfies everyday.
