Better processor, better screen, bigger battery, plus 3 years of development in the world of smarthphones. The camera alone is a reason to upgrade. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
To be fair, the S9 would be a good upgrade for the S7, and there are good offers out there with the S10 release.
Same. I've lost count of the 'dangerously low on storage' warning signs i've had.
Its around £70 for Samsung to fit a new battery. I looked last month. On the plus side, Samsung are still proving updates, limited to security. No sign of Android 9 for the S7 range.

The ultra wide lens, coupled with the Osmo Mobile 2 gimbal, the S10 is looking good.

My S8 is 33Gb full. Not much of a problem as internal storage is 64Gb.
Everything else is on a 256Gb microSD.

My 32gb is only 50% full and the battery only lasts for 2 days now where I used to get nearly 3 days out of it.
I have no idea how anyone could fill 32gb with apps (unless you install hundreds of useless junk apps). All photos etc are backed up to a cloud account and deleted.
There is no way I could spend £800 on a phone! If I feel the need to upgrade I'll wait 6 months and get one half price.

All Samsung Galaxy S10 phones will ship with pre-applied screen protector
Might be worth seeing the factory fit one before parting with more cash??

Lets hope its not the screen protector with a cut out hole for the fingerprint scanner. Its unclear if it was a offical samsung protector or third party.

If true the screen protector news is welcome. I will hold off buying one now as I don't need to use the phone right away if not.
My first choice case a spigen thin fit is getting a hammering in reviews. Has anyone taken delivery of a similar thin case and thinks it good?

Yeah I’ve heard Samsung have installed a screen protector on the S10/but it’s presumably a standard plastic type. As mentioned above, if it has a hole cut out for the scanner that’ll be majorly rubbish. That’d completely ruin the feel of the display. That said. . .
I’m a docker, so I need a tempered-glass protector. Ordered the Whitestone Dome one from MobileFun. Never used them before. Had the dispatch email Wednesday morning but it’s not here yet. I’m hoping someone can confirm MobileFun are trustworthy? I did check beforehand and they seem to have good feedback. . .

Got the Spigen Tough case with kickstand today. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07MK3VZKK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_KLvECbE23K4RV
Always stuck with Spigen over the years. Good balance with quality and price.
This video covers most of the Spigen cases (for the S10 , but I'm sure they are available for S10/S10e)
