https://www.avforums.com/attachments/0dc74a77-0fc9-4378-82b1-467729432a17-jpeg.1194314/ Same here with regards to optimised mode and auto brightness plus a few other tweaks!
I don’t think I’m using mine enough compared to you though but very happy so far!
I don’t let it fall below 20% as a rule!

Less than 3 hours screen time and down to 26% doesn't seem good at all. Especially if you're already optimising apps.

So here I am watching the thread as I'm about to hit the buy button. I agree with what's being said about reviews and the obvious disparagement when actual users prove them wrong or to be just not right.
I'm toying between 512 GB vs 256 GB, Note 10 plus vs Note 10 plus 5G. So are the battery usage numbers that bad? Has anyone spoken with Samsung re this issue?

Apple fan boy heresince the first iPhone .
iPhone is max sold and jumped on the 5G bandwagon.
I've had my Note 10 plus 5g for two weeks now and i love it.
My first note 10 had a terrible battery ,I'm talking like half a day which ishalf whatthe YouTube reviews showed in there tests .
Not happy with this I call ee and got a replacement the next day , this new phone was giving 9 hours on screen time and lasting well over a day after just one charge .
This has got even better after a full week of use and 5 full changes on the battery .
Was my first one a duff battery or a software glitch I don't know but something was very wrong with it .
I'm regularly going to bed with 30-40 % battery now so I'm very happy with that .
The fast charging with the out thebox 25w charger is great at 0 to 100% in 70 mins , I have a 10w wireless charger at the side of my bed which I use each evening but the fast charger will come in handy for holidays and working away .
The look and feel of thisphone is up there iPhone but but with more futuristic looks , if it was running iOS you wouldthinkit was an iPhone 14 , it really does feel so more advanced then the present iPhone.
And as for android it really is fantastic and was not expecting to say that , the personalization options are endless which i did not think I would be into but man just when you think its setup to perfection you discover another short cut or gesture that makes your day to day use even quicker.
And talking about quickness this things is light speed , iPhone in comparison is just frustratingly slow .
I have also switched on the developer options to reduce animation to 0.5 secs and it's just insane haw fast apps open .
Another feature I'm loving is multi tasking ,i can open 2 apps at once in split screen lol it's amazing.
At this point a cannot think of anything I would add or change on this phone it really is that good .
I've not had a chance to test 5g speeds yet and im not expecting to be using that a great deal this year but my 3 local cities are getting 5g before the end of the year so Iwill be testing thatsoon .
This 5G looks to be years away really as line of sight is need for 5g connection so we will need thousands of 5g noads everywhere .
All in all I'm very happy with this phone and don't regret ditching apple for a minute, and now seeing the new iphone 11 Im glad I made the move .

Thanks @Parry I was holding out on getting and iPhone and when the 11 came out I just thought what do Apple think they're doing. Thought it was more like a backward step and there's no way I'm going there now.
So it seems the only decision I need to make is 256 GB or 512 GB as I've decided on a 5G version with the future in mind.
Rhe only other decision is what type of case for protection. What are you using?

UAG Monarch on mine pricey but it’s definitely the best I’ve tried and I’ve tried 6 cases in all!

Apple has lost it mate I'm done with them.

I'm rocking this case as it's very protective but does not make the phone feel really big and still allows you to see the beautiful design of the phone.
I've also just brought this one witch has less protection but looks amazing not the phone

Spot on. Lost the plot big time. Whoever made the decisions might not have a job there much longer.
Thanks, will look at those along with @luxxyman's listed. Not worried about the looks, we would know how good it is, but maybe a good idea to disguise it somewhat and also really concerned about protecting it, but will keep an open mind. As @luxxyman has eluded it's not always easy to make the right choice 1st time around.
Will be pressing the go button tomorrow, no issues to stop the processing of order, so should get it by Monday.
