In theory you could make an equivalent rig to a console for $400 or £300
Why would I do that when I already have a console that can produce console like graphics?I want to go all in on PC so want something to outperform them at least.So I think I'll save up for a while and get something decent.

Hi guys im a bit of a PC novice but can put a machine together with the help of my brother in law.
I'm looking to build a rig that can play all the sim racing games on the highest settings using triple screens, and an Oculas Rift. Assetto Corsa etc
My budget is around £700 just for the PC, can it be done for around this price point.
Does this include peripherals then no. Do you want to play on ultra? Then no. Can you tolerate lowering settings? Then maybe.
