First impressions were good, in fact I havent stopped laughing!
Seperation wasnt as good as I would have expected but there was some lovely "bell action" on the first track which worked well in multi channel.
As for the rest of it think Robbie Williams and Metallica in a funeral parlour and you are just about there.

This may not sound like a bargain, but this Depeche Mode SACD is very hard to track down now(gone the way of Violator and Black Celebration, only not as sought after), I know as I've been after it for ages and only place I could find it was ebay for around the £30 mark.
Anyway, if you're after it grab it while it's in stock, probably the last time you'll see it at £18.50 and likely the last chance to buy it new from a retailer aswell.

It was indeed £42.14. It normally costs about double that, although I got it for £22.99 from Amazon in January so it is worth keeping an eye out for a price drop.
Even at £42.14 I consider it great value for a nice three-disc collection of songs that mostly sound very good now that new life has been breathed into them in terms of audio quality.
With regards to the reviewer who got the standard CD by mistake, either he was unlucky or I was lucky, depending on whether you trust Amazon's item descriptions. I bought a Rolling Stones album that was described by Amazon as an SACD but it was just a redbook edition that had used DSD in the remastering process or something. They were fine about issuing a refund but it was a bit of a nuisance. At this stage of SACD's existence I think that's a risk any collectors will have to run when shopping for rare titles.
