This is by no means a bargain, but the Metallica.com website has the "Metallica" (or "Black Album") on DVD Audio for $18.99.
Shipping is a whopping $14 to the UK making the total price $32.99, which at the current exchange rate is approximately £21.40.
You'd be luck to find a used copy for this price elsewhere, so this is still a pretty good price. I'm tempted data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

I've heard this is good and at £17.45 delivered it seems at least a tenner cheaper than most places are selling it for:

That was a great price on Dire Straits, already had that though.
Anyway, just found a cracking little bargain.

You've blatantly stolen this deal from HUKD without any credit to the original poster. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Yep, can't get it anywhere else without paying a high price. I've seen copies on ebay go for well over £30.

Hey all,
Couple of newbie data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 SACD questions please -
1. Do you really notice the difference over a standard audio CD?
2. Are there specific places to shop for SACD or just browse usual suspects - eBay, amazon, play etc?
Thanks
Peter.

"1. Do you really notice the difference over a standard audio CD?"
That's the idea. Spend a fiver or so on one and decide for yourself whether it was worth it. I think it is. Most people posting on here agree, because they are into high-quality sound and vision.
Besides, standard audio CDs can't do 5.1 surround sound, whereas SACDs can (although not all are). So even if your system isn't fantastic or your ears are filled with wax, you should at least notice that noise is coming out from your rear speakers.
2. Are there specific places to shop for SACD or just browse usual suspects - eBay, amazon, play etc?
Try some of the offers mentioned in this thread. SACD is limited in terms of availablility so they just crop up here and there on special offer - again, that's the point of this thread.
Take the plunge.
