Completely agree - But I will drink it with food. You have to be a little more careful though because Rosé does tend to be sweeter.
However, as a wine to drink on it's own, it's a no brainer.

those are the old world whites i do like.i haven't really touched any cheap rose wines, in fact i've tried some stupidly expensive ones (that i didn't and would never pay for) and still didn't see what the fuss was about. i even tried a rose/pink dom perignon once that was about £120, but frankly i'd be far happier with a £10 bottle of new zealand sauvignon blanc
