The thinner the pizza base the better in my book, almost like a cracker suits me fine. As long as it's sturdy enough to support the toppings without collapsing everywhere.

Used to get a lot of take out from local pizza places - they were £16 for 2 Extra Large!
Recently my brother has really got into baking so he makes bases from scratch and we've been making a lot of 'pan pizza'. Roll out the base and stretch a bit, on the pan to cook the bottom whilst placing the sauce and toppings on. Then under the grill to cook the top. Fantastic stuff!
