I have to order a double cheeseburger to accompany any of the "big" Mcdonalds burgers. Meat wise, the big mac, big tasty, and quarter pounder are tiny.

Makes me laugh when you see adults eating a McDonald's cheeseburger & chips, they are so tiny it would fill up a toddler.
I won't tell you how much I used to eat in there, as it would probably feed a family of 4 for a week data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

You describe almost all food portions and clothes as 'child size'. So either we all go around starving in tiny clothes, or...

Clothes are a nightmare for anyone above 'average' size, and food portions are the same. If you're say 5' 10 and 12 stone (I'd say that was pretty average?) High Street shops are fine for clothes, and a burger & chips will probably be enough for a meal. Not everyone is 'average' though.

I'm not huge by any means but a macdonalds burger meal isn't big at all IMO.
It's a lunchtime snack for me.
