That's the problem - you can find 'stuff' online to support any theory.Of course that means you can find articles that say something is definitely good, while others say it is definitely bad.You need peer reviewed sources, and even they don't always get it right.

One of the guys in my uni parachute club came on his training weekend when he was doing Ramadan.Ultimately they didn't let him do his jump at the end of the weekend as they were concerned he wouldn't be at full mental/physical strength after not eating all day.

It's not just football, cricket.. Hashim Amla of south Africa, got some of best performancesports while fasting... Moeen Ali, Mushtaq Ahmed, Saqlain Mushtaq all have been fasting and playing... even during coaching the English team.
