it was the 6W day white here:

5x GU10 20/38/60 LED 4W/6W High Power Bulbs Lamp Light | eBay

Much brighter than the 50W halogens they replaced data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

There are only 4 LEDS in each bulb so Iam slightly concerned they are overdriven 1W LEDS, but that's only because I have never come across a 1.5W LED.Can you overclock an LED? data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

you can pump more power through but it affects the longevity and efficiency of the led if it isnt rated that high

are they longer that the normal halogens ? I have some fittings that I could get away with them in, but others they would stick out if they were too long

I'll post up a photo tomorrow John.

Here we are, apologies for the fuzziness. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

They are 1cm longer than a standard 50W halogen (on the right).

Most, if not all of my GU10s are 35w.
it might just work.

IronGiant Publish time 26-11-2019 04:15:32

I think they are 3W and supposed to be 35W equivelant data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

They look just like the ones I got back in November:
6W GU10 White LED Light Bulb lamp AC 85~ 240V | eBay

Very pleased with them so far.As you say they do seem much brighter than the 50W halogens they were replacing but this may just be because it is a white light rather than a warm light as the lumens output is lower on the LED lights compared to the halogens.

I have to say I much prefer the light from the LED bulbs data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

I also bought an ecozone daylight bulb:
Ecozone Biobulb, Energy-Saving Daylight Bulb, Bayonet Cap, 25W: Amazon.co.uk: Lighting

And this is really good too.

I'm waiting until I have done a big extension before changing out all the bulbs as light fittings will be changed completely.
