Then to me that makes it legit. If it was always the Daily Mail then you could call it biased. The fact the Gruniad is as likely to win means it's a fair decision isn't it?

As to is the Daily Mail the best?
Well for a mass market media publication there are a couple of ways to judge that.
1) Is to get the opinion of experts
2) Get the opinion of consumers of the media
As for (1), we've seen a judgement this year where they were judged the best.
As for (2) then people have voted with their wallets and made it our 2nd best selling paper
No doubt you'll come up with a 3 page response to prove I'm wrong.

All it is is newspaper people patting themselves on the back and handing out awards to each other. Similar to what film and TV people do.

Otherwise, one can only assume you are sticking to repeating that "the Daily Mail won Newspaper of the Year" because you know that will be taken as implying it's as good as if not better in terms of the quality of the journalism/news by those you are trying to/and have baited - even though you can back out of it because News Paper of the Year is not actually a direct comparrison of quality.
