Yeah, and I beleive that the guy appointed Minister for climate change (or something similiar) doesn't actually beleive in climate change data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
It's all designed to wind up the Lib Dems (and people like yourself who get frothy around the chops at stuff like this). Enjoy data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

The thing is homoeopathy works because it is a placebo, and medically placebos work.
So the injustice should be about people so called professionals being employed to create and provide homoeopathic medicine.
The information to patients should be changed to advise them how to medicate themselves. A simple leaflet can be left in the waiting room explaining how to get 3 drops of tap water if you nearly turn off your kitchen tap but not quite. Collect those drops (without touching them!) and consume. Do this 3 to 5 times a day depending on severity of symptoms.
This would lead to a near zero bill for the homoeopathy budget on the NHS.

Holy crap - it turns out you are 100% correct! Owen Paterson. His brother-in-law is Matt Ridley (5th Viscount Ridley):
"Ridley has expressed strong criticism of the science of climate change and its conclusions".
"Ridley was non-executive chairman of the UK bank Northern Rock from 2004 to 2007, in the period leading up to the bank's near-collapse".
- Wikipedia
Great, a government run by failed bankers and climate skeptics. What could possibly go wrong with that?! We are all data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7'ed.
I'm genuinely depressed. I will look into Patterson's donations at some point - but let's guess: hedge funds, energy companies and the Koch brothers, by any chance?

With the cabinet shuffle, the UK now has:
Secretary of Transport - Scared of flying.
Secretary of Health - Calls the NHS a "60-year old mistake", opposes abortion, opposes stem cell research, and advocates homoeopathy as viable treatment.
Secretary of Environment - Climate change sceptic.
Secretary of Justice - Believes businesses should be able to discriminate against homosexuals.
Secretary for Women and Equalities - Hates equality and women.
Ingenious selections there..

that is crazy if he holds that view, where did you read that?
some of these appointments are questionable, but your post on the equality appointment is scary, is this really true, that is an area ripe for problems and poor press.
If I can re-word sidicks post:
"With any luck this will prevent the UK from wasting even more £Bn on man-made up global warming [-]nonsense[/-] when the rest of the world apart from Europe does not shackle itself with such limitations and costs (even if the science is true, UK/EU cannot solve this alone so should stop trying and jepodising their economic recovery in the process)!"
