Really?if BG had said he thought JC was anti-Semitic would the sky fall down? //static.avforums.com/styles/avf/smilies/facepalm.gif

You might well say that, however a judgement was passed along the lines of "pretty weak reasoning" based on a imaginary answer.

Here’s an idea, lets wait until he repliesOr we can continue prejudging the pre judger data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

You do understand the meaning of the word IF?

I originally was going to not mention Corbyn directly and make the point that there are various parties MP’s who hold views like anti Semitism, racism, islamaphobia etc and point out the hypocrisy if you would’nt preclude voting for their party whilst using the same criteria not to vote for Labour, then thought that may be unfair as those MPs aren’t the party leader tbf, hence asking the question

So no witch hunt, just pointing out a potential hypocritical stance on a discussion forum while giving a potential justification

Edit reading back, I should have asked, “do you think”, rather than “do you accept” is JC AS?

BobbyMac Publish time 26-11-2019 01:51:35

As you asked the question, Do you think there is a possibility Corbyn is antisemitic?

springtide Publish time 26-11-2019 01:51:36

And as I stated earlier it depends on your definition of AS, that’s not a cop out but a statement of fact

Bl4ckGryph0n Publish time 26-11-2019 01:51:36

Exactly.
Is criticising Israel anti-semitic?e.g. is criticizing the separatism in Israel anti-semitic if you compare it to South Africa's apartheid which was considered racist?
Slightly off topic as it more relates to the Labour Party than Jeremy Corbyn.

On topic, hopefully Corbyn will be gone before I next vote.

You are entitled to your opinion, doesn't mean it reflect reality unfortunately for you. There simply isn't the same issues that labour has with anti-semitism in other political parties. And it is entirely their own doing.

Bl4ckGryph0n Publish time 26-11-2019 01:51:39

No it doesn't depend on your definition, although it may do if you decide to redefine what AS is.

Bl4ckGryph0n Publish time 26-11-2019 01:51:40

The working definition is quite clear, I'm amazed that it is even posed as a question. This really isn't rocket science. It seems to be you (and Bobbymac) who have a difficulty (and desire?) to understand the definition and to redefine it.
