Agreed, it’s terrible isn’t it that this lady was first convicted, now in fear of her life. All for drinking some water. Just wow indeed.

So you have no issue with the people of an entire nation being called backward?

GOM Publish time 26-11-2019 01:38:54

We can trade you an orange haired troll and his bimbo for one converted Christian if you like...

EarthRod Publish time 26-11-2019 01:38:55

That is a long time ago - why bring it up?

Has nothing to do with this thread.

Bl4ckGryph0n Publish time 26-11-2019 01:38:55

No I have not. Not when their legal system allows this to happen. When it does allow this, then yes, the entire nation is backward as justice is the backbone of a nation.

faiz0 Publish time 26-11-2019 01:38:55

Justice has been done, she’s now free.

Bl4ckGryph0n Publish time 26-11-2019 01:38:55

She shouldn’t have been jailed in the first place, a bit of detail you seem to be missing. And secondly she should be protected properly. Jailing people for blasphemy is backwards. And it is even worse when it is one sided.

No justice has not been done. An injustice has been done.

kilvil Publish time 26-11-2019 01:38:56

then why can she not leave pakistan

faiz0 Publish time 26-11-2019 01:38:56

It’s the law there, blasphemy is an offence. As far as I’m aware no one has ever been put to death when convicted. It applies to both Muslims and non-Muslims.

Pakistan is a very complicated place unfortunately, always has been and probably always will be.

Bl4ckGryph0n Publish time 26-11-2019 01:38:56

Hence I call it backward and apply it to everyone since what happened to her is supported by the justice system. It is simply right and fitting for the 21st century.

It’s shameful and I think sanctions should be in place against Pakistan.
