Why? Same point. The Present government had nothing to do with something a 100 years ago. Presumably he would say he has nothing to do with other Muslims now.
Or are you saying he should apologise? After all this would be a bit more current.

The 'present' govt has nothing to do with many things they apologise for, yet they still apologise. Government apologising for past injustices has been going on for decades, so why should the Amritsar massacre be ignored? It's an institution thing, not a people thing - false equivalence, as I said.

Which I think is wrong. Usually all that does is lead to demands for some "compo."

The Gangs are merely taking advantage of the gaps in Policing and the projects that were aimed at tackling gangs, funding was cut to the bone by central Government (if any came from the Mayor of London it would have been when Boris was Mayor). Add everything together and you have a recipe for long running gang feuds based on postcodes exploding from the shadows and into civil society.
Two things need to happen to tackle gangs in London -
1. Increased Police Numbers on the streets to rebuild trust with local communities, then intelligence about gangs might begin to passed on to the Police who can then look at tackling specific gang members.
2. Investment into various projects that aim to either help people to leave gangs or
prevent them from joining in the first place.
They don't value life at all, it's all about the gang, they likely see a prison sentence as a badge of honour or an occupational hazard. Increased Police Numbers and projects to keep kids out of gangs and so on are a must. Along with tackling the economics that pushes people into joining gangs.
Theresa May is at fault for the reduction in Police numbers across the country. Go on twitter and look up what current and former Police Officers are saying about how overstretched they are up and down the country.

And what about the sentences handed out and the cushy lives in prison? Whoever carries out these crimes, are not put off by the jail term nor the experience inside....
Or am i wrong?

Yep, the death penalty acts as a real deterrent in the USA. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

That's cause people sit on death row so long. We'd need a more efficient system where you are hung within a month or two of being sentenced. Max waiting time of twelve months.

I get the cause and effect for hospital and police but puzzled with education cuts giving rise to an increase in the number of pupils.
Cheers,
