For the record a few of us did talk about this in another thread, I don't think he should have taken it back, but now he has it will turn into a farse to do anything else.
The language I'm hearing isn't great though, so post referendum its time for someone else, especially as the EU question will be put to bed for a short time anyway, so they'd need to pivot to a different approach or topic, else they'll fizzle away as they'll not have a purpose.

Pretty normal for failure, its not productful.Fiasco for Labour, not really, they also have the benefit of fixed term parliament, so they do have years, 5 in fact.

I can see Farage throwing it all in and trying to go showbiz/talk radio. LBC and Talksport would certainly take him.

I can see him in a Victorian music hall.
Or should that be a Victorian music halal? data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

An Audience with Nigel Farage ...
Or he could just buzz off across the pond and upset Katie Hopkins by taking up a Fox News post, whilst she's still waiting by the phone, suitcase ready.

Article from last night by Nigel's former Chief of Staff, Raheem Kassam (now Editor in Chief at Breitbart London, which he set up last year) ...
Douglas Carswell 's bid to 'erase' Nigel Farage on the political stage - TelegraphDifficult to know who or what to believe, apart from the fact they're having severe communication difficulties and possibly a slow burning leadership coup. Should note that teabagger Kassam has been referred to as a 'professional wind-up merchant' who apparently trolls (left wing) writers.

Although the EU vote is entirely on the Conservatives terms - I notice, for example, Hammond has said no treaty change is required - so 'concessions' extracted from Europe will be cosmetic. And yet a successful 'stay in' vote will setback the Europhobe movement decades. So I can't help but wonder if this 'taking onboard the UKIP message' is little more than a cheap political victory by the Tories.

If their work is done, then they don't need to be considered a serious threat so in effect they are an irrelevance.
However, 4mvote indicates they're not, so any current in-fighting within the party hierarchy over the leader's position is of interest.
It would be the same if Labour were appearing to back-stab each other or if the Tories had lost and were ganging up on David Cameron/each other. But currently, no other party is sitting with a big chunk of voter support 10 days after a general election and trying to keep a leadership challenge from brimming up.

The referendum on Scotland was down to the same PM. Did the successful vote to keep the union set the SNP back decades?
