Labour.

Voted Conservative and as East Yorkshire is a pretty safe Tory seat then I can't see any one else getting in.

The Lib Dem policies sound good on the surface of things but they are rather popularist and seem aimed at those who do not really understand their impact.Things like scrapping Trident sound great in the ideal world, but it's just not that simple in reality.I won't go too much down this line but Rasczak made some great points on this subject in the previous thread.

You only really have to look at Labour's track record over the past 13 years to rule them out.Their view of running the economy well is simply to just keep borrowing to fund what can not be afforded.I dread to think where we will be (probably in a worse position than Greece) should that continue for another 4-5years!

Will be voting Labour later on after work.

Was going to go Lib Dem but then saw that they want to introduce pricing on motorways. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Aye, qwerty, libs had some very good things, but ultimitly i dont think they are strong enough to run a proper foreign policy either.

voted Lib Dem already postally
- for the local election ballot, voted for one Lib Dem and two independents (both long standing local councillors, one who was Tory until a few years ago, the other a trade unionist - had a pleasant chat with both on a number of occasions)

Aye.Though not a hard choice for me.None of the parties have really come clean about the amount of reduction/downsizing needed.

Though they may get away with it now, in the long run (as the BOE gov said), they'll get crucified for it.

Better to be honest now but a large part of the electorate do not want to hear the truth, imo.

Voting after work.100% decided but i'll add my vote here after i've voted.

As long as they were fair with it (reductions/improvements in other areas) i'd not be against that.

I was considering BNP or UKIP, but settled on Tory, simply because I want rid of Gordon Brown and voting Tory offers the best chance of that happening (or at least, I hope it does!).

Personally I think the worst outcome is likely to happen - a hung parliment.

Whoever, gets in, hard decisions are going to have to be made and it will be better if they are made swiftly and dictatorially rather than subject to disagreement, squabbles, horse-trading and procrastination.

I would prefer that Conservative win outright, but would concede that an outright Lib-Dem or even Labour would be preferable to a hung parliment.

Cheers,

Nigel
