I think (possibly) the point is if the MP is correctly representing his electorate, he's going to be representing their views rather than considering whether a runway on top of their houses is good for The City and the Economy.

So long as people are given a fair price for their house and maybe new homes built identical to the ones knocked down for them to move in free of charge, not too far away, then i'm sure nobody would mind
