I wonder if Israel will be so keen to do that once Russia starts deploying S-400 AA Missile batterys in Syria? Im actually very suprised that Syria haven't taken some pop shots at the Israeli jets flying over there territory. Lets face it after what Turkey did earlier this week Syria would have the moral high ground.

So, I missed out the little gem in my list of confusions that Israel are bombing Hezbollah in Syria, while Hezbollah are supported by the Russians and fighting for Assad?
Do people in the UK really, really want to get involved in this quagmire?

I was thinking of opening up a Bible shop in Damascus, but it looks like that may be on the back burner now.

Jeremy Corbyn has written to Labour MPs to say that he cannot back the PMs proposals for airstrikes in Syria. The SNP will vote against the government because they want to make trouble, so its looking like we will not be joining France and the US.
Actually I'm quite happy with that (or at least the result) as I think it would be a total waste of time and money. The opposition is splintered into so many groups, generalisations like we will defeat IS replace Assad and allow the Syrians to form a government isjust pie in the sky. Any leader at this stage would be a puppet.
Why is it up to us anyway?
If Paris has shown us anything it is that the threat of an attack in the UK will come from home grown terrorists. A good start would be to ban anyone going to Syria and certainly not allowing them to return.

He's one MP out of 231, he may have misjudged this one.

Corbyn might just piss the Americans off to the point that Ford and Vauxhall might end up relocating to anothet country.
