The real sad thing is, this isn't even surprising.
Why women seem to be blamed for their fate of being raped I'll never understand, backwards and inferior cultures.
I hope the women can get over this and she can return to a normal life, but after being bound in sexual slavery, her entire life must be traumatised and the fact her family are rejecting her in her time of greatest need would drive many people to suicide.

Thats what some men do it goes beyond cultural differences.

Yes but when the victim is ostracized for "bringing dishonor" and being the victim, that is clearly a cultural issue. And considering these facts, how do we combat this and many other problems that conflict with our definition of life?

I was talking about the families response, they are cultural backwards to turn their back on their daughter after one of the most harrowing experience anyone could have, and blame her for the rape or concerned about their own so called family honor. From western eyes the family have proven they have no honor what so ever in doing so.
What the man did goes without saying.
Imprisonment and (domestic) slavery, sexual possession is a rising issue in the UK, certainly not a one we've seen in the UK domestically probably for centuries. You would be blind to think this is not a cultural issue, but it is shared by some eastern European cultures and traveler communities in the UK/Ireland.

Well May stuttered when asked about how she's getting on with appointing a chair for the public inquiry into child sex abuse, it popped up during urgent questions over Rotherham. Same old response "Lessons must be learned. Need to wait for reports" etc. It's no wonder people are disaffected with Politics when they won't get to grips with an issue as important as this one. It's like they are trying to hide something.
