Good to hear people speaking out from all corners, this transcends politics, even if it was a partial (or even driving) cause of the PC/race card problem.

You seem to be getting all bent out of shape about the "race card". So let me put it differently, do you seriously believe these people in child protection services had well documented cases of paedophiles grooming and raping children and did nothing because they feared being labelled racist. This being the only or major reason they failed to do their jobs?
What do you know about my ethnicity?

Yes.
It's in black and white in the report.
Have you read it?

BBC News - The fear of being seen as racist
A fear of being viewed as racist has been cited as one of the reasons why child sexual exploitation in Rotherham was allowed to proliferate for 16 years. But how much of a factor is this fear in the day-to-day work of social workers and others working to prevent abuse?
Prof Alexis Jay's harrowing report revealed the abuse of more than 1,400 children - mainly by men of Pakistani heritage - and it criticised councillors for "downplaying" the issue of race, and "avoiding public discussion" on the topic.
The report also made it clear that this nervousness around ethnicity was a top-down sentiment.
While frontline staff themselves were not blamed, some social-care staff said they were "advised by their managers to be cautious about referring to the ethnicity".
A fear to confront the subject of race ultimately stopped the council engaging with the wider Rotherham community about the problem, the report suggested.

The fear of touching on racial issues is everywhere in UK society. I was watching a summary of UK news on the BBC and the reporter could not bring himself to say anything about ethnicity.
He could not even say the word Pakistani himself. His way around this was to quote the report directly, with a close up of the words so it was clear he wasn't saying it himself!

So there's a fear of financial loss then ... as most PC/H&S gone mad incidents boil down to fear of financial loss through litigation/prosecution

Also the fear of loss of social standing due to the cultural fear of being thought of as racist.
The irony is true racists couldn't give a crap, only those that aren't racist at all are punished.
Like when you buy a DVD your forced to watch the bit about not pirating it, it only hurts the innocent.

It's also a fear of losing the social standing they work hard to attain and use to their advantage.
Dangerous mix of social climbing, greed and dishonesty that ultimately harmed children (who those in charge wrote off).
Those who covered up the abuse in Rotherham should at least face charges of misconduct in a public office.
This is the point Simon Danczuk made about Westminster -
I suspect we might be in for bigger shocks to come in regards to cover ups.

I think this highlights the cultural issues faced in these types of cases and will stand in the way of solving the problem.....
