Think it's better to say that the plan Khan had for tackling crime/knife crime in London has not worked .
If Boris becomes PM and does not grant the additional funding,or he does and that additional funding is wasted , or additional funding reduces knife crime then we will have a better picture .
And we will all disagree on it data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Ok, so back to the basic point.Do you think more Police, as suggested by both Khan and Johnson, is what is required to sort out the knife crime in London?

Khan hasn't had the funding to implement what he has wanted, these funding requests have been ongoing for the last few years.
Not that Corbyn has ever done much, but he was also involved with the talks with "Glasgow experts" as reported over a year ago (April 10, 2018):
Jeremy Corbyn and Sadiq Khan host meetings with Glasgow experts to learn about integrated approaches to reducing crime - Sunday Post
-------------------
LABOUR leader Jeremy Corbyn and London Mayor Sadiq Khan have each hosted meetings on violent crime amid concerns over the number of killings in the capital so far this year.
In a gathering at Parliament Mr Corbyn spoke to police officers and experts including John Carnochan from Glasgow’s Violence Reduction Unit, which has been praised for the way it deals with the problem.
Meanwhile, Mr Khan hosted Home Secretary Amber Rudd and Metropolitan Police Commissioner Cressida Dick at City Hall, where delegates held a minute’s silence in memory of victims.
All London MPs, council leaders and Assembly members were invited to the event, which took place as the Labour leader was hosting a meeting on the same topic in Westminster.
-------------------
Khan has talked about it until he is blue in the face, made his appears for more funding public, but it falls on deaf ears.
Note that what was done in Glasgow made a major difference to knife crime, which is why they have been working with who are considered "expects" in the UK on knife crime.

I suspect @weaviemx5 you are wasting your time as you will not get a straight answer.
Some people dislike Khan for whatever reason, so it doesn't really matter what he does he will still be criticised, even when there is hypocrisy because other MPs agree with Khan.

Well that would depend on what the Met are proposing to do with those extra police.

Oh the reason is pretty clear - he is useless.
Khan pledged to reduce crime and that there would be zero strikes on the tube. As it is we have 16 tube strikes and reported knife crime has increased by 52 per cent, robberies up by 59 per cent, and the homicide rate by 26 per cent.

As such Khan n Boris agree so hopefully the extra funding comes with a Boris PM. If it does not then let's go at him . If it does and it does not make an impact then go at him .

I thought you were expecting Khan to dictate where the additional resources are used?
Regardless, you’re still not answering the question.

Well maybe if the government took notice of his requests we might not be in this position now.
I see you've ignored the post about what Khan did over a year ago.

I tell you what - you tell me what answer you want me to give and then take that as my answer.
would that make you happy?data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
