People here are strongly advocating for our new Prime Minister to make a deal with a party with 0 MPs to save Brexit/the country. It's a crazy time we're living in data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Zzzzzzz.

People here advocating for a deal with a party which is currently polling around 20% in Westminster voting intentions.

Which if added to the Tories own 20% would see them well ahead of the split remain vote for the Libdems and labour.

Zzzzz

And in the context of the post I replied to, with regards to LiBDems only having 10 MPs and trying to influence the much larger Labour Party, compared to a ‘Party’ with zero MPs, my point is valid.

Exactly. Deliver Brexit, job jobbed.

Though I am impressed you would like him to carry on. I never had you down as such a fan of him, it seems I was wrong and you want him to carry on.

Once again you have my respect.

The party is even called The Brexit Party. You'd think that would give a clue. "Deliver Brexit." If they were thinking long term wouldn't they have chosen such a name that wouldn't be rapidly outdated once we've left?

I’m sure you’re aware that I’m not discussing him staying on because I’m looking forward to his political impact long term, I’m just being realistic about someone who loves the limelight not giving that up.

They may be called the Brexit Party but they’re also announcing long term ambitions like abolishing interest on student loans and scrapping HS2.As far as I’m aware, neither of those bear any relation to our EU membership.

She used the word 'crash' twice in her letter to Jeremy which indicates she is stuck in the same old mindset.

Many others have the words 'crash the UK out of the EU' burnt into their brains without thought of how that could apply to an event that hasn't occurred yet.

I suppose the word 'crash' in some peoples' minds is inexorably linked to Brexit without any question.

But they are hugely vote catching, and once elected, quietly forgotten... data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Definitely, like most campaign pledges (lies). The point though is that they’re openly campaigning for actions post-Brexit, which makes the idea that Farage will stroll into the sunset on the 1st November, naive at best. All the people saying that they don’t like Farage, are openly calling for him to get into Government via the backdoor (unelected beurocrats ring any bells?).

He'd largely "retired" after the referendum result. He only started off again after May's deal and when it looked like Brexit wouldn't happen.
That's not the same as being "in politics." He can carry on with his radio show or TV or whatever.
Or it's just a wish list. Think they are going to be a major party with Farage as PM?

Once again I am impressed with how much faith you have in them, and your belief they will deliver.

Since when have Political party’s had “wish lists”? They’ve announced them as plans for the future, which feels very much like campaigning.I don’t think Farage will be PM, Johnson won’t give that up willingly.

I also never said I have belief that they will deliver data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
