Numerous people thought there might be one.

Before the vote and after Cameron's came back with a crap deal, there was talk of we vote to leave, the EU would offer a better deal, we'd have another referendum and then stay in.

So if you wanted to stay in the EU but with more opt outs you should vote to leave in the first to get a better deal even if you wanted to remain.

Cameron shot it down with other suggestions there would be a second referendum.

Cameron says no second EU referendum if result is close

David Cameron: No prospect of EU vote re-run

Ex-Conservative leader Lord Howard said an Out vote in June could be followed by more talks and another vote to allow the UK to stay on better terms.

Does the party have an election manifesto covering things other than Brexit? I assume they must have proposals regarding healthcare/welfare/housing etc and not just a single issue?

Sonic67 Publish time 25-11-2019 22:11:38

UKIP did. The party only formed, what time is it now?

I suspect they are petty focussed right now, given that they have no time to answer emails from West Sussex.

Again, missing the point. You said that he speaks for all the 17million. Fair to say that he’s done a lot for the cause, that some people do see him as the Brexit messiah, and that he can have an impact on things going forward. But that’s not what you started out stating.

Alternatively, maybe it was just a bit of hyperbole and you didn’t mean all 17 million?

Expect they're busy with policy on fox hunting, muslim vitamin deficiency and formal attire for the theatre.

Again, same point. 17 million voted to leave. We still haven't, the main parties can't do it, he probably could. Again.

And same point. I don't rate him above any other MP but he did deliver. Others haven't.

IronGiant Publish time 25-11-2019 22:11:43

That's a relief, he isn't an MP.

We were heading for BRINO or a soft Brexit or no Brexit at all. If millions desert the main parties for the Brexit party or even for UKIP, then the only way for the main parties to get those voters back might be to be increasingly eurosceptic again. You don't need to like him but he could have an effect. If you want to leave.

Don't get grumpy with medata:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 I didn't say 'does Farage speak for you'- I think you've messed the quote up somehow - my orignal quote link is above.
