Probably worth pointing out that other than the sequencer and the mixer, everything was picked up 2nd hand on ebay. Some amazing bargains can be had.

Yes VA. But they took great care mapping the minimoog to the extent that it is difficult to distinguish it from the real thing. As a big fan of analog I don't make that statement lightly.

Welcome to SONIC CORE

I know I sold up some years ago through ebay although I have to say I got back most (ish) of what I spent new
am a little wary of buying off there though TBH
these days it is more audio-books radio plays that I am creating/writing
hence my Deep Fresh thread!!! ha ho

I understand what you mean. I'm sure I'll be stung one day but so far touch wood I've been very happy with what I've picked up. Often the saving is 50% or more.

My drum kit (apologies for the tools/junk, it lives in the garage!):
                                                                                                                                        /proxy.php?image=http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a38/wicker_man666/drum1.jpg&hash=9984edd45e668821c15df9167bfe427a
Dixon Tempo rock kit with Sabian AAX 16" Dark crash, Sabian AAX Metal 20" ride, Meinl 10" Classics splash, rubbish 13" hats and 16" crash which came with kit, cowbell (need to get a clamp to mount it properly).

Started learling drums last year when I started uni, got my kit for £100 used from a neighbour (with rubbish cymbals) last summer but unfortunately it lives at home because it doesn't fit in my uni room and we are in a terraced house. I plan to get some decent hi-hats, a double pedal and maybe a China cymbal next.

My guitar (complete with fine layer of dust):
                                                                                                                                        /proxy.php?image=http://i8.photobucket.com/albums/a38/wicker_man666/fat_strat.jpg&hash=a05d05f9e0c07aef88840c7f111ebc0a
It's a Squier Fat Strat with a 10w practice amp. I haven't really played it much lately since I started drumming.

I guess you all know what the Rock Band X-Box 360 set up looks like... so I won't embarrass myself by taking a photo of it data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

In my defense, my wife is musical and loves it, she even bought the Mad Catz bass guitar to go with it.The whole family gets a great amount of enjoyment from it and even get Dad to do the vocals (and I despise Karaoke).   It's a real rung on the ladder to getting the children involved in real music.
