Here's a song I recorded a few months ago.
4.15 by Alan Taylor 7 on SoundCloud - Hear the world
Really needs a vocal but I tried and it came out well...rubbishdata:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
If anyone wants to download it and think up some lyrics & record a vocal over it, your more than welcome. Would be interesting if someone could do it and post it on this thread once done, bit like a music share.

EDIT.
I have lyrics already for this song, so if anyone's interested PM me and I'll PM you back my lyric to record, or you could just write a new lyric and record that. Up to you.
Here's one more song I recorded a year or so ago, this time with me singing. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

I'll have a play and see what I come up with. Love the Harmor synth - brilliant to use and so easy to come up with the sounds that you are after. Do you use FL Studio or are you a logic user?

4.15 was recorded completely on Logic using the built in synths & my telecaster.
The 2nd tune (Double Dip) was recorded using my boss br800 & my Takamine electro acoustic.
Have a crack at writing & recording some lyrics over it.
I'd love to hear it with a different lyric & voice other than my feeble attempt that I deleted.

You have obviously never heard me singing lol data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
What key is it in and what tempo is it? Might see if I can put some vocals over it from somewhere else if I get chance in the next week or two.

I'll work out the key tonight once I've finished work but I think it's in A? As for the tempo, that's a tricky one as I delete my Logic files after I've finished a tune and the tempo is on the daw's interface. I know one thing and that's the key the song is in is not to my singing voice, that's why I sounded like a strangled cat when I sang on it!
I'll post the key either tonight or tomorrow morning.

OK. The tempo will help a lot to try to match up a vocal line to the song. The key of A is a tough one to sing in. A lot of singers find the key of C easier to sing in so if you are struggling to sing the lines try changing the key to C - might help.

Ok it's in the key of C and it's tempo going by counting the beats is at 60bpm.
Just had to play it on my guitar to work out the key.
Hope this helps?

I'll try to have a play with it and see what I can match up to it. Don't shoot me if you don't like the results lol data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Can you post up a link to the song but with the song in mp3 format please? It is easier for my mac to handle the mp3 file format. Cheers
