Taken a punt
Have just had a prune of my current kindle library, tried to get it down to just a few key series and few stand alone titles by authors so I can have bit more focus with what I can read next
This is what currently looks like

But I have hundreds more in the "cloud" should I fancy something different.

@dUnKle Just spotted Mozart Conspiracy on your list now its a toss up between that and Rod Taylor's Biography, I like Ben Hope hes flawed, but deals some nice retribution.
Im reading a Matt Helm book (totally different from the spoof films). The Terminators which I'm not enjoying as much as the past ones I read, probably about 20 years ago. He not as nice of a character as I recall although just let someone do a runner rather than kill them.
A third in so time for a change.

Having read all the jack reacher books, I was also in search of something similar and followed it up with the charlie parker series. I am now onto the harry bosch series and would recommend both which I thoroughly enjoyed.
Another book I would recommend is "I am pilgrim" which I thought was brilliant.

Its far from "serious" fiction
Its fun but very OTT but in a good way.Its very much like a Bruckhiemer / Bay movie but not to the extent of the stuff by Matthew Reilly
Im just about to finish the sequal. Nowhere Man, and on back of them have got couple of the authors other books

Reading Lee Child's first book, getting really annoyed. With the clipped. Sentences. That litter. Every page.

Having read them all can't say it's anything I've picked up on. Guess just the style and doubt with the millions he has sold he will change it anytime soon.
The books are what they are and whilst there has been a lull over last few years in quality they remain enjoyable reads

I read that and was not impressed as some people are with Lee Child but was told it was his first and not his best and gets better as he goes on, although dropped off later. I did find it readable and did not, not enjoy it. So picked up some in the 3 for £10 on Amazon when they had a deal on.
