Another vote for Ben Hope. I've read them all and really enjoyed them. Good for being British as well

Will Robie books good too, agreed.
I forgot about Barry Eisler 'John Rain' books too.
Japanese-American assassin, his hand-to-hand martial arts scenes are good.

Brilliant, that is good to know, I will make a note when I have finished the Jack Reacher series.Another good read is Jack Coughlin's Gunny Swanson series. Coughlin is a retired Marine Sniper and has invented The Gunny Swanson character, who is a sniper with connections in high places. Best to start with Kill Zone Sniper 1.

Have we mentioned John Puller in this thread yet? The author is David Baldacci - yet another decent character from this author.
He's another one that's like Reacher.

That's fantastic, there is enough reading material here to last a few years.
Is it me or has Mcnab gone off the boil? it seems like someone else was writing the books!

I have read the first one and thought it was ok - meant to have a look at the rest and forgot all about them data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
