Don't worry there are plenty of good GL stories from before his time, check out the first run just after Crisis on Infinite Earths, it starts in GL and then there is a spinoff called GL: Mosaic which I loved then and still enjoyed on reread awhile ago. That series features Hal, John Stewart and Guy Gardner and they rotate stories for a while while all 3 are earths GL but issue 25 is great and then John Stewart gets that spin-off title for about 20 issues from memory.

n June, DC will launch a new title focused on the Caped Crusader and the Last Son of Krypton. Batman/Superman chronicles the duo's early days, when they meet and presumably don't like each other until they like each other. USA Today announced that the comic will be written by Greg Pak and will feature art by Jae Lee.
The comic is mostly being kept under wraps at this point, but the timing of the launch is auspicious. The new Superman reboot, Man of Steel, hits theaters in June, so it makes sense that they would launch a new Supes comic book which happens to co-star DC's most popular character. The fact that Batman gets top billing is intriguing — there was another duo comic, started in 2003, which ran for a decade under the title Superman/Batman. Both comics were preceded by World's Finest, which is unfortunately not SEO-friendly.

Superman/Batman was a cracking read - I need to complete my colection of those.

this does look good . There are a few different articles on newsarama already.

I liked Pak's hulk and Lee's art was great in a few hulk thing issues and sentry solooking forward to this a lot. Along with the synder jim lee man of steel looks like a bumper summer for clark.

The previous series was great early on for 25 issues but a bit hit and miss after that i thought but it mostly had top people on it so wasn't all bad.

Got my new flat this week so can empty my storage unit at last. Just need some cheap shelves from ikea. And the bad news its second floor no lifts and only about 20 odd boxes of comics to bring up data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

                                                                                                                                        /proxy.php?image=http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x309/father_flump/20130223_151645_zps31d50ae0.jpg&hash=f9e9b977eaeb5f16435c0b2be9b1da92

Really pleased with the Guardians stuff...especially the price my LCS let me have them for data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
Issues 8-12 cover what is the 2nd Guardians GN & that fetches ludicrous prices on Ebay as it's long OOP now so it's nice to have them.
