Is it the Batman book you're referring to? If so, you can get it from The Works for £12.99! Got one today.

I picked it up, and actually rather enjoyed it, probably because it's set amongst the original trilogy of films and not all that expanded universe bobbins. Seemed pretty well written and illustrated, and my word, the paper stock is lovely!Take note Marvel & (to a lesser extent) DC!

I was at my folks over the weekend and had a go on my younger brothers Kindle Hd and bought perfect viewer as recommended on another thread.

What a cool bit of kit and almost perfect for comics, i got my son a cheap android for xmas but the free comic apps kept crashing and I've not seen him with it since to test it further but the screen and response on the Kindle blows it away.

I've loaded it with about 10gigs of stuff for him and just need to see how easy it is to stream to it from either an xp/win7 machine, any ideas?

The speakers are very nice as well with DD   or some variant but sound is very good and seperated. It's just a shame there is no larger one over here as I really want of these now but think a 10" would be even better for viewing comic full size.

Not really the thread for it but has anyone tried one of the overclockers tablets as their 10s are under 200 compared to the nexus10.

edit : Just noticed the nexus10 is an even higher rez 2560x1600, that will be why all the recent digital comic have had a version that size. Reckon that comics would look very nice on that screen.

Somehow I realised that I'd never read Invincible before, not sure how/why that happened but it is coming up to its 100 issue mega cover event so thought I'd try it out. I am loving it so far, very funny and nice artwork with some very funny inside jokes, not sure how they get away with the Global Guardians without ******* DC off.

Got some good prices there.

Do you mind telling me where you got them from??
I've got a hankering for a few more GN's & I've been browsing Amazon who normally have good prices but interested to see where you got your's from.

I've used the kindle fire for comics with comicat (found I liked that better than prefect viewer) fantastic but only downside was you can't get at the mo comixoloy app for kindle uk so I've purchased the nexus 7 32gb and loaded it up with over 200comics and all I can say Is wow, I know it's only 7" but I wanted it for portability more than anything (as my ipad weighs to much to cart around)

I read both paper copies and digital as well, it depends when where and how really! But my vote goes to nexus for a cheaper option as its a pain the get cbr files onto ipad - you have to have a wifi or 3G connection and use Dropbox or similar.

eBay mate.

All of them were auctions apart from the No Mans Land books that were BN. I was bidding on the original 5 book Volumes, but they still commanded a high price. I lost out on the last set of 5 which went for about £50inc postage, and thought I may just grab the new 4 (larger vols with more comics added for a more complete story) vol set instead. One trader had the books at £15 4 delivery rather than the £25 they will be in FP, so I bought the first two Vols (he charged me £6 postage instead of £8 for the pair, meaning I paid £18ea)

This is the trader for the No Mans Land, I think he has sold out of most of them though:
