Read about a new series from JMS and Ben Templesmith.

Newsarama.com : JMS Returns to Creator-Owned w/ Templesmith & TEN GRAND

Both of these have done excellent work before so this is a must for me.

Reading about Joe's Comics reminded me of JMS first series Rising Stars, this seems to be a forgotten hit (for me at least as I've not mentioned it on here before. Back in the day this was a massive series with great sales but was a victim of its own success as it got stuck in limbo for ages and lost artist after artist. If the original guy had stuck around for the full series it would have been great as it is still worth a read now it is finished but the ending was a bit predicable/let down but the start (first 8 or so) were great. It would have made a great movie trilogy but that was what caused the hold up as JMS refused to finish it so the movie fell through.

Anyway lets hope this new series doesn't go the same way.

I saw that but wanted a free one.I have tried Komik and think it is better than a coic viewer but will be keeping perfect viewer installed.

I didn't like the sound of ads popping up while reading comics with comic rack.

I just need to find some free cbr/cbz zipped comics now.

Pardon my ignorance but what does one reader app do that another one doesn't? I've been using Bookman, it was the first free app that supported comic filesthat showed when I did a search when I got my first iPad. All it's doing is opening a file right? Am I missing out on something?
