I like to be central on the strip so we can walk in either direction at night - plus a lot of the restuarants we like are mostly central too. & as you will know, just walking past 1 hotel takes quite a while with the scale of them data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

If you had not already said you had been to Aria I would have said that would fit your needs perfectly. Amazing modern hotel - great casino - superb bars and restaurants and an excellent pool which we make use of daily - oh and a really good gym.

If not Aria, then perhaps Cosmo worth a try ? or Pallazo / Venetian or Whynn / Encore all look very nice too. Bellagio has a great pool but the rooms just look a bit dated / pokey for my liking. That's the good thing with the Aria you can get a suite for a reasonable price if you book enough in advance and get the m life discount.

I like Aria dont get me wrong but just prefer the vibe of the Mandalay for some reason.Ill look into M life.Cosmo is on my list as i really like the look of that place.I dont tend to go in bars for a drink as its crazy prices when you can get them free ( small tip) just by gambling data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 ...   Restaurants wise always liked the one outside Paris , which are your favs?

Our fave placess are ...

PF Changs Chinese
Wolfgang Puck in Ceasars Palace shops
The Hard Rock Cafe on the strip
Five O Pizza in Aria
Top of the World (for a special meal) at The Stratosphere (& the view is amazing)
Yard House (near the Linq)
Ramsey Burger
Mon ami Gabi near Paris

The bar in Mandarin Oriental is my fave bar & amazing- but costly !

Yeah they are all very good quality - and you can see the type of food we like from those data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
None are over the top prices, although Top of The World is a bit pricer because of the venue ....

I like old legacy hotels in Downtown in much need of remodelling. I love the faded whirly pattern carpets, old fashioned frayed and stained fabrics, the general stink of smoke and in places the wonderful combination of urine, chlorine and mould. Bugs in the bed top it off. And broken lights.
I also love the queue to check in and check out.

Just back last week from 1st Vegas trip - bonkers place to go. Great time, Stayed at New York, New York. Super friendly staff, great size of rooms and very enjoyable. Would go back anytime!

I've stayed at the Luxor, New York, New York and Excalibur. Not the poshest hotels on the strip, but no problems with any of them. The only downside to them is they're at one end of the strip, so it's a quite a trek to the other end.
