Try using a website like Opie Oils - Automotive Oils, Fluids & Parts to locate the correct oil.

Seems to be some knowledgeable Jag guys here, could anyone suggest the cheapest place to get a trim as per this photo:

                                                                        https://www.avforums.com/attachments/jag-xf-photo-jpg.835878/

It's the opposite side as shown in the photo, but that's the trim I need. That small black piece on the window. I asked a Jag parts place online who said it came as part of a kit including a load of stuff I don't want or need and wanted £120for it. Not paying that!

I've only had my XF for three weeks and noticed this has taken a whack somehow and is completely cracked. It's not a car door hit as it's too high, I'm guessing it might have been hit by some debris during the recent Storm Doris.

That's not my car by the way!

Thanks chaps

John7. I checked with Halfords and its not much different than what you were charged. This is what i found:
Halfords - £159 - Half day job
Kwik Fit- Can replace brakes but couldn't give a price. will take 1-2 days approx because they need to size up then order. So it depends on what time you arrive and time taken to access and order whether you get the car back same day.
Jaguar website ( courtesy of @johndickinson ) - £169

I searched for a 'how to' video on YT and the following link shows the replacement in detail

Looks staright forward after seeing this but may go Halfords as one is 10 mins from my house

mjn - nice one for that. Found the castrol £10 cheaper

Greg - Have you check the bay? Mind you, I could onl find rear doors. The cheapest being about £160

Thanks I'll give those a try.

I tried eBay but all that came up was replacement chrome looking ones that you stuck over the original which is not what I wanted.

You could get the chrome ones and get some black vinyl wrap in the finish you need, might be easier than trying to source a s/hand one, or pay the main stealer price.

I'm thinking along those lines, getting some black vinyl and wrapping it.

So pleased to see this thread!
Absolutely love these motors.
Was going to get one second hand as they represent phenomenal value for money, fast, amazing to be on, great drive, good fuel economy etc etc and look fantastic.

Then I got moved by work and I'm moving to a right toilet area and there is no way I want to drive through it and leave my car parked there for 8hours a day/ evening.

Bastard! My dad popped in for a surprise visit today. And to show off his new Bag XF 2.2D.
Stunnng car in light blue and I had a drive ofit. An absolute joy to drive and an amazing place to be. I'm just gutted that my work has moved me to a horrible area so I wouldn't want to drive round there or park there.
