Road rage, how do you react?
So I've been watching a number of youtube videos of dash cam footage mainly from the UK and I'm interested to hear what your reaction to any motoring near miss incidents you have are? It seems from watching these compilations we are a very angry nation. I'll admit that in the pass in my youth I've been toe-to-toe with other drivers but now I just try to never engage in any form of interaction. Its got to the point now that there's a very good chance you'll get stabbed or violently attacked so its just not worth it. I had tried laughing when they are screaming at me but that just seems to light the touch paper and you can see them visibly going red! Seeing the number of drivers that get the red mist form and then chase down cars just for what was a very minor incident is quite worrying. So a quick straw poll of how you react if either your cut-up or doing the bad/incorrect driving; is it do nothing, give the 'V's", all out war or something else? Its nothing scientific just wanted to see what members thoughts were.Thanks. I'm not a perfect driver, forget to use indicators at times, maybe nip out at roundabouts when I should really have stopped etc so when I see someone doing something that annoys me, I just shrug it off. No sense getting too upset. I'll sometimes swear at other road users but they can't hear me, and you'll not see me shaking my fist, blasting the horn or giving anyone the middle digit.
I nearly got my nose chopped off on the inside lane of a roundabout this week, young girl took the racing line when she was supposed to be in the outside lane but I managed to brake in time. Don't think she even noticed me. She had R plates so just passed her test, I probably should have beeped the horn in hindsight, just to make her aware of her mistake. I hunt them down. Follow them home if i have to. Then proceed to take their life apart, one piece at a time.
Once i'm finished, they've lost everything and a shadow of their former selves. Do you call your car Christine by any chance? data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 Just had an experience of it an hour ago. Young knob end thought he had right of way. He may well have done but I was positioning my car further up the road to be able to move on. He just thought he'd stick his 2d in. What he does not know is that if I had got out of the car he'd have to be taken home in a hearse. Why? Are you driving a hearse? And his car was broken down? So he had right of way, but you decided to cut him up and if he dared to get out of the car you would have used violence against him? Blimey what is your problem... I would have thought standard protocol would be to take him to hospital in an ambulance. I can't imagine they would take said person and put them straight into a coffin and brought home in a hearse. I don't think you've thought this scenario through enough data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 https://www.avforums.com/attachments/upload_2017-11-5_17-14-23-gif.934046/
