Sure isn’t - even here in Canberra! In fact in a school zone it is an even more heinous offence here. I reported him as well and it seems it isn’t a grey area - just difficult to ‘prove’ over here. I don’t have a sash can (very few over here and cops aren’t to flash at accepting it apparently) and I didn’t try to get witness statements etc. they said they would contact him which was a phone call I think. Anyway they called me to say they had spoken to him and he denied it so my word against his.

At least there should be a record against him so if someone else reports him for similar in future, this incident can be given consideration.

Road rage for me is pointing and shouting/swearing and hoping they can lip read data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
What annoys me though is when you see company vehicles with the name of the company advertised and the driver is being an absolute ****, cutting people up, speeding, on mobile etc..
Pleasure is that I just add the name to a long list of companies I'll never use data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

A quick email to the company about the drivers performance normally has a good outcome too.

I always make a mental note to do that, but I always forget.

I tend to only do it for bad cases and when on my bike and they pass particularly close etc.

I think one of the main scourges of the road are taxis (private hires, generally a prius)
In my experience they:
-poodle along at 20mph (or under) as they rely on sat navs and don't have a clue where they're going
-on the other hand, I've been in cabs where at times believed we will crash, either speeding or driving like a maniac
-pull over wherever they feel like to take jobs, look at phone etc...
-cut you up whenever they feel like, especially roundabouts
-pull out from junctions at last minute
Just overall dislike driving near them.*
*I'm not as obsessively hating of taxi drivers as this post makes me sound data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Strangely, considering I am generally an angry, intolerant, impatient man with delusions of grandeur, I don't tend to get road rage and tend to stay quite cool.
I'm more likely to get angry if I'm on my own but stay calm if the family are in the car.

I usually mutter “For Flips Sake” to myself and carry on regardless. I will admit to reacting if something takes me completely by surprise, but I tend to anticipate the actions of other drivers by looking at their body language or car language.
Not made eye contact? Then you’ve not seen me as you pull out. Car positioned in a particular way? Then you’re in the wrong lane and about to cut me up.
Saw a sign on the back of a lorry this morning, aimed mainly at cyclists with a warning not to undertake but still resonated with me. It read,
“Think today, alive tomorrow.”

I walk to and from work and have found the same and it's not just drivers, I get it from cyclists as well. I wonder if there's some pecking order I'm unaware of.
I've been having an ongoing argument with a cyclist for the best part of a year. I see him most mornings as I'm about too use a pelican crossing and he moans at me for pressing the button to cross and not leaving the green light in his favour. This is at 6.30am when admittedly, there isn't much traffic on the roads and I usually cross over before any approaching car or the cyclist reaches the crossing; but my argument is, it's hard to judge the speed of an oncoming vehicle and it may have slowed down on seeing the lights change. But he still has a go at me most mornings.
