If you choose the right company or broker, the quotes can be surprisingly reasonable.
I've used Greenlight and Chris Knott, and neither had any problems with the things done to my car,and both came in with very reasonable prices.

I'm sure you already know this, but if you do buy one that someone else has been modifying, they may not have your experience or attention to detail, and these cars are a prime market for badly bodged work, and poor maintenance.
Be careful!

You've spent all that money to try make your car quick and then added sound deadening, amps, subwoofers?
Would you of not been better either going for a nice looking show/sound off car or an out and out stripped out quick car?
What bhp is it running? I bet it's a nightmare in his weather?
I could never work out why someone would sink 20k in to that I'm not doubting it's pretty quick but Im sure you could have a much quicker, better handling, better looking car with a decent interior and something you wouldn't lose so much money in.
Fair play though!

The civic type R responds quite well to a filter and exhaust I already knew this.Nice car would be good as a turbo conversion, unfortunately you dont get much of an incerese with just a remap if not a turbo engine. My friend had a similar car with filter and exhaust, I did not like the sound.
