Your question is a bit more specific, it can stay here if you prefer it to?

Thanks.
I'd prefer it moved (for a wider readership), but don't mind if you think it should stay here.

Ahem you should be looking away from your instrument cluster and only glancing at it data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 But I get your point. Sometime I go and wonder what the speed limit is. Saying that, nobody should actually wonder what it is. As when there is an exception than there are repeated signs always visible. I guess it’s just human nature.

If it's going to be controlled, or rather guided, by the sat nav then what happens if you can pick up the sat nav signal. This often happens where I live because of the steep mountain behind my house. Will it still be allowed to drive away? Or shall I have to wait until the satellite rises above the horizon.
You can take too much responsibility away from a driver and make them complacent and over confident.

Did you indicate as you changed lanes as all the systems I have used only give a warning or react if you do not indicate. If you indicate as you should when pulling out then the system switches off and does not give a warning since it knows you intended to change lanes.

But you don’t always have to indicate when changing lanes.

You do when fitted with such a system data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
I bet it is enough to drive advanced drivers crazy data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Yes, I definitely indicated to pull out (not to pull back in again) and the system beeped on both occasions, hence the reason it is now switched off.
