The two places I tend to see rare cars are either at the British Grand Prix, or in Jersey data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
The Grand Prix usually has a wide variety of nice motors, I guess some people take it as an opportunity to show off! You see a lot of Brabus and Alpina and other cars of that sort. Also saw a very unusual Clio a year or two ago, unusual in the regard that it was Fisichella's data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 A Carrera GT shot past us in a blur on the way there last year, many people tried to keep up with it... and failed!
Jersey's motorists on the other hand are quite, quite mad. On an island nine miles by five, with a top speed of 40, there's an astonishing amount of performance cars. There's tons of Astons, Bentleys, Ferrari's and all that sort. Even saw a Maybach there, which would probably need to go onto the beach to turn data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 Saw an R8 there too, before launch I think, scooting about with no plates.

data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 My brother had one of these. I can remember it being his dream car, until he got it. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 One of the problems was that the rear window leaked so badly that the car rotted away data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 the problem with mine was I drove it through a red light I didn't realise was there straight into the side of a brand new vauxhall cavalier pulling out on a green light. When the Fuego electrics then caught fire it engaged the starter motor and trundled off down the road all by itself. For some bizarre reason the Police decided it was all my fault data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

PS:the reg wasBAD 880Y and the crash split the number plate in half so that the second 8 slipped out of sight data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

I see a black Maserati Quattroporte everyday on my way to and from work.
Two weeks back I was competing with a Pagani Zonda to find a parking spot up in North London.
My favourite sighting was last year in Brighton a Ferrari Enzo that had EN 50 in the reg plate.
