It just goes to show how easy it is to misinterpret the intended meaning based purely on the written word. Internet forum sites are full of people sniping at others for little reason.

I don't know what the kerbs are made of in Oxford, but it had smeared jagged sharp edges of alloy almost into the tyre. I've filed those off*, so I think we are on cosmetic wheel damage only.Apart from needing a new tyre.
* I'm sure the tyre didn't appreciate that, but I'm changing that.
