Yeah, they were quoting Feb/Mar. Which would have been fine for me as I would have had to shift the wife's Mini Cooper S Conv beforehand.

Had the car been for me rather than the wife I'd have signed the form in a heartbeat.

I'm too attached to my BMW E90LCI as it took me ages to find the spec I wanted, and couldn't dare to part with it.

Although the Golf R is seriously a hot car and like Justin above said would cost less than the deprecation alone. Moreso when the market is flooded with them in 2 years time data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

The only thing really varying with these Golf deals, is the up-front cash lump-sum. Some of the sub £200pcm deals are looking for some sizeable up-front amounts I suppose (which may not be to some tastes). The six month (or longer) wait is the real killer for me!

How can that Golf R deal be so cheap? Why isn't normal hatchbacks cheaper?

domtheone Publish time 24-11-2019 22:30:11

Subsidies?Normal hatchbacks can be.

You can get a bog standard Fiesta for little over £100 a month or a Citroen C1 for lessdata:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Looks like the Golf R deals are being pulled a few manual 5 doors left and that's it. Prices will rise substantially apparently.

Hi, do any of you just keep getting new cars like this? If so, What do you do at then end of the 2 year period? Give the car back and have to start again with another big deposit etc?
Thinking of using my golf as a deposit on one of these leases, but wondered what happens in 2 years if I didn't buy the car out right.
Thanks for any info.
