Forecast is superb

I have mixed feelings on that.

On one hand less drama on the other whoever wins will have earnt it

Well it's half 10 and the leaders haven't gone out yet! And I'm already knackered! data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Moving day - a few guys going backwards unfortunately!

Big chance for McIlroy now.

I type as he's screwing up the first hole....//static.avforums.com/styles/avf/smilies/facepalm.gif

Rose and McIlroy not up to much sadly.

Koepka - will he be denied a hat-trick? Such a good golfer. If he's within 2 or 3 by the end of today, I think he's got a very good chance of doing it.

Good final round so far.

Not sure I fancy Woodland to keep his nose in front for another 8 holes.

Rose not on it today.

That leaves Koepka. He's got the nerve and wants that hat-trick.

Well Woodland pulled it off. Played very solid in the end, and deserved the win. The first time he'd won in 8 attempts after holding the lead going into a final round.

Can't believe how poor Rose was, and McIlroy did nothing either.

Unbelievable stat of the day though - Koepka - the only man to finish in double figures under par twice at the US Open.

That's absolutely crazy considering some of the greats who have played the game.

Looks like December at Portrush. Love it.

Taken all the yanks off my betting slip anyway. If it's not summer they can't play data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Love Open weekend. A pity it's the last major of the year already.

So the Ryder Cup will be coming back to Ireland in 2026 //static.avforums.com/styles/avf/smilies/clap.gif.
The venue, Adare Manor is absolutely incredible, unfortunately it's somewhere I'll never be able to afford to stay in (or play), but it will look stunning for the armchair viewers.

Ryder Cup: Adare Manor in Ireland is named 2026 venue

Nice. I've seen many pictures of that course, will definitely try and get there for that. What a weekend that would be. Plenty of time to save up!! data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

A few mates and I hoping to get over to Italy as well in 2022.
