This really is hard to call. Their defence is similarly exceptional, but with Murray serving like that then I think he'll be favourite. Nole and Murray are the top players in the world so it's a fitting final.

Worth repeating the absolute pleasure and privilege it was to witness Novak vs Murray at the o2 back in Nov 2012. There are some real bitter haters on the internet but in the flesh you would have to be a liar to fail to be impressed by the sheer skill and athleticism of both men. Am really pleased since breaking his duck Murray noticeably looks more confident in his own game and is now attacking the play
Damn shame about the time difference, will be highlights for me

Why, why, why do the Australians have a bloody firework display right in the middle of a slam final???
They do it every year for Australia day. It's ridiculous that it has to stop the game and probably affects both players via losing whatever momentum they have gained data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

If I was told this stat before today I wouldn't have believed it, Murray could become the first male tennis player to win his maiden Slam and the Grand Slam that follows it.
He would also remain third in the rankings if he wins. That means he would hold two of the four Slams and the OG beating the world number 1 - who will be the holder of no Slam or Olympic medal - in all those tournaments.

I'll be hungover but will be watching. Hoping Djokovic can win. Murray had a bye to the semi and needed 5 sets against Federer who was fresh out of another tough 5 setter against Tsonga. It was always inevitable he'd beat Federer. He never beat him at a gran slam before ; but if you wait until a legend is like 33 or something then it's inevitable as they're obviously on the slide.
Also hoping Murray doesn't bore us with aces constantly like the semi. I was almost in a coma.

6 slam finals, 1 win, Olympic champion and you are still here trying to convince yourself he is rubbish?
