Stereotypical rich dumb people, but not in a fun way

The entire premise of the show centers around Alex. Alex lives a playboy life of luxury, is the center of the show, and invites others along for the ride. Alex is also dumb, mean, and the show creator's son. Yet despite being an unlikable character, the entire show is about people's connection to Alex and trying to make him look good. But the entire cast is generally unlikable except for 1 or 2 people, who in some way are screwed over by the other unlikable cast members.

its hard to watch because its essentially all about people cozying up to a dumb, mean, rich, young trust fund baby regardless of how he intentionally hurts those around him. It even started a 2nd French Revolution in my living room.
