A mostly one sided documentary, that ends in some conspiracy theory type stuff

1 for production values, would give 0 otherwise.

It's fairly one sided and doesn't flow with the stories half way through, It starts off with the Hulk Hogan V Gawker Trail, which was easily decided since gawker ignored a court order to remove the video(which was surely already downloaded a ton of times) **though they completely neglect that fact if my memory serves from my viewing of it**, they then tried to claim it was a matter of public interest, which was rather easily shot down in court, and during the course of the documentary they try to claim that a one Peter Thiel who had his sexual orientation made public by gawker, was trying to silence media outlets, when he really only wanted to take down gawker, who've done similar things in the past to other people, as well as some other questionable stuff which made many people dislike them.

**I do remember them mentioning it at least in part.

It then jumps to a completely unrelated story about a Los Vegas Billionaire who bought out a newspaper organization because they said something he didn't like, which sucks for sure, but it's unrelated to the first 2 stories, and is mostly there because it fits their narrative, which ya all sucks sure.

But sprinkled throughout is the true intent, a hit piece/warning against Donald Trump, where near the end at least one person seems to claim that we are heading for an authoritative regime of sorts, and that Trump will be a threat to freedom of the press, and all of that. Which as of June 27th 2017, has not happened, and I don't think he's brought up any of that lately. Trump brings the pain of the media on himself sure, but I can get why he doesn't like them given how many hit pieces there have been.

I didn't find it very informative overall, and didn't really learn anything new about the hulk hogan trail, which appears to be their main selling point, and when about half the documentary isn't about your headlining act you made a grave error somewhere. I'd suggest watching Helvetica instead because that documentary about a font will likely stick with you longer than this thing.

score 1/10
