Hi Guys,

Please help me here, I bought some Lohas LED strips but having issues getting them installed. I have put my phone on the 2.4 network downloaded the Toya app fine so when it starts to search for the lights, it says turn the lights on, turn off for 10 secs, then on off on off on and the light should start to blink and then you can pair with the app, I have tried this process for about 30 mins, off on off on etc etc but for the life of me I cannot get these lights to blink.

Can anybody help on what I'm doing wrong before these lights get launched in the bin.

Cheers in advance.

Do you have separate SSIDs for the 5 and 2.4 bands?

I had a similar issue with a broadlink device not able to connect even though my phone was connected to 2.4ghz (on a combined SSID) I had to separate the bands to set it up, the device still works fine connected if you combine the bands back to the same SSID as long as the name stays the same for the 2.4 band when spartaed temporarily.

I think I may have rumbled it @Jamie

Looks like there is a button on the control box I should be pressing rather than turning the lights off at the power switch, DOH
