Here's my setup:
iPad->adapter->display
Simple, right?
The adapter in this case has, on one end, a 6' lightening cord going into the iPad, and on the other end a female hdmi plus a usb cord to conect to power. I use a male-to-male hdmi cable to connect the adapter to the display.
So far, so good. EXCEPT, that after a while the image on the display gets frozen, and changing the image on the ipad, or even unplugging the iPad from the adapter, does nothing. The image is still frozen on the display. Turning the display on and off does nothing, the frozen image reappears after the display comes back on. Changing hdmi inputs on the display does nothing either, the frozen image follows the hdmi cable. The only way to unfreeze the image is to unplug the adapter from its power source.
So.... have you ever heard of this happening before? What is the solution? Should I try another adapter? I can't babysit this equipment and replug the adapter everytime it freezes. |
