Hikvision 8 channel CCTV

I have recently bought a second hand CCTV system by Hikvision 8 camera. I am at the moment using cameras 1, 2 and 3. After a power failure the camera number 1 does not work so I connected the camera to input 4 and it works but when I click on menu and Single Screen it displays cameras. 2 ,3, 4 etc up to camera 8 . There is no camera 1. Does anyone have any ideas what has happened?

Maybe this could be posted in the home automation and security forum but it sounds like the unit’s output to the no.1 camera socket has failed. Therefore it doesn’t even allow a blank screen with no camera connected to no.1 socket.

The numbers are only to identify what camera is connected to what socket - is there a problem with calling what was camera no.1, camera no.4 now?
