Hi folks

Looking for a reasonably priced week away in November. I'd like 25 degrees if possible. As it's only a week, I'd rather not travel to Peru.

Any suggestions?

Canaries will be 21-25ish, morocco, anywhere in North Africa really. You really are on the border of having to dip into the Southern Hemisphere though by November to get decent weather! HRH

We went to Sharm El Sheikh and stayed in Thomsons Sensatori a couple of Novembers ago and it was spectacular.. We used to venture abroad every year in november before my Daughter came along as I liked to be away on my Birthday and the Sensartori was by far the best place we've been too.. It was in the 30's most days! If you don't want to leave a resort then I can't recommend the place more...

I second Egypt, although I'd always steer people to something interesting rather than a Red Sea resort.

EITHER

( not both in the time ) a Cairo based week to explore the MANY great things around and in Cairo, using a combination of bus excursions and cheap taxis.
Get a nice hotel at Giza I think ( i.e. by the pyramids ), rather than the tiring city centre, and make Cairo city trips in to see e.g. the Museum, bazzar, mosques, citadel, etc ). There is much to do well outside the city , e.g. to follow the evolution of pyramid building.

OR,

A Luxor based trip to explore the wealth of ancient stuff around there.
But perhaps also with
- part of your week at Aswan, a city south of Luxor, by first class train ( not that far really - 3 hrs )
- plus an excursion by plane from Aswan ( or Luxor if you're not going to Aswan ) to Abu Simbel - trust me its worth it, just Google it.

Luxor is more relaxed and far nicer than Cairo as an environment. Aswan, yet more so and significantly the nicest ( and warmest ). If you're going to Aswan make sure you get out on the Nile which down here is actually awesome and relaxing to be on.
You could even spend a week down in Aswan really, if relaxing is part of your thing.

You can fly open jaw, Luxor and Aswan, if you're using the convenient if naff Egypt Air scheduled flights, so only one rail journey between.

Or you could get a package for Luxor - no idea if you can get packages in the two places.

Or a boat for the week of course.

Just noticed your username and if that implies you're coming from Newcastle, the sheduled flights for my two suggestions will involve hassle for you, plus onwards to the southern cities if that's what you do.

So I realise maybe you'll be looking for a charter on a package, going from the north, even NCL if you can get it. That would certainly work for Luxor / a boat.  Cairo, I don't know.

I'd ruled out Egypt due to trouble in recent years. Then realised I'm not particularly scared. I'll have a look around. Thanks all.

Of the times I've been to the Canaries in late Aut/Winter (Nov-Fev), November was always the best month weather wise.

Sure it may not be 25 every day but it won't be far off (especially early Nov).  Occasionally high 20's.

Did go to Egypt one November.  Amazing weather for 7 days.  Don't think I even saw 1 cloud

It's not quite all about the weather though so i'd pick the Canaries over Egypt 9 times out of 10.
