Yes, we went for the 2nd week of October and would thoroughly recommend the island, it's people and the hotel. However they close from the end of October until start of May. Another bonus that it took less than 7 hours door to door and weather was in the high 20's for 5 days out of 7.

I wholly expect it be a totally different hotel in the middle of Summer but either in June or September/October it's nigh on perfect for us.
